Learning seminar: Enablers and improvement cycles – lessons learned from the WWiS effective local practice case studies
On Tuesday 5 November 2024, the What Works in SEND (WWiS) Programme ran a learning seminar for key decision makers in SEND systems across education, health and care. The seminar focused on SEND system enablers and improvement cycles, and lessons learned from the WWiS effective local practice case studies.
The seminar consisted of:
- A presentation from Isos Partnership on Enablers and improvement cycles: Lessons learned from the WWiS effective local practice case studies (Ben Bryant, Director, Isos Partnership)
- A presentation from Islington Council on their WWiS effective practice case study: Co-operation and assistance – sustaining strong partnership working in Islington (Candy Holder, Assistant Director for Inclusion, Islington council)
- A presentation from Rotherham Council on their WWiS effective practice case study: Genuine Partnerships and the four cornerstones approach to co-production in Rotherham (Dr Claire – Marie Whiting, Genuine Partnerships Co-Lead, Rotherham council and Eva Ogden, Business Manager, Genuine Partnerships & Rotherham Charter)
