- Ensure that robust evidence shapes decision making in SEND at every level
- Supports understanding of and access to the existing evidence in SEND service improvement and practice models
- Develops high quality systematic reviews and synthesis reports and commissions new trials and evaluations where there are gaps in the evidence base
- Researches and harnesses the collective knowledge and experience of local areas, practitioners and partner organisations
